"Waiting" - Framed Fine Art Print 18x24" (45cm x 60cm)
Recall a bygone era of timeless sophistication, where gentlemen donned tailored suits and women embodied grace and style. The second painting in the Age of Elegance collection. Bathed in a golden hour atmosphere, this painting positions the viewer immediately behind an elegant woman waiting on a open promenade for her love. Dressed in a sophisticated, backless black evening gown and draped in a translucent, flowing white shawl, her hair is gathered into a classic, intricate low bun. She stands with a posture of poised grace, waiting patiently as her well-dressed suitor breaks away from the mid-ground crowd, approaching her with a beautiful bouquet of fresh flowers.
As she watches him draw near, a radiant sun lens flare sweeps dramatically across the canvas, scattering soft rings of light and reflective warm golden streaks over the foreground. For a collector, this lighting effect creates an unforgettable cinematic mood—a fleeting, intense moment of romantic tension and warmth suspended within a world of high-fashion maturity and historic European sophistication.

Frequently asked questions
What are Giclée Art Prints ?
Giclée (pronounced "zhee-clay"), derived from the French word for "to spray," represents a high-quality printing method renowned for producing exquisite fine art reproductions. This method utilizes sophisticated inkjet technology to meticulously recreate artworks with exceptional detail and vibrancy, closely mirroring the original pieces.
Why are Giclée art prints exceptional quality?
Giclée printing stands out due to its remarkable features:
- Exceptional Resolution: Giclée printers employ microscopic nozzles, achieving resolutions of 1200 dpi or higher, translating to incredibly precise details and smooth color transitions.
- Uncompromising Quality: Giclée prints are crafted using premium materials, including fade-resistant, pigment-based inks, and acid-free papers, guaranteeing longevity and preserving the artwork's brilliance for generations.
What is the difference between an art print and a Limited Edition Print?
Art prints are open editions and are not subject to running out of stock. Limited Edition means the publisher has committed to only producing a limited number of prints and NO MORE than that - FOREVER. These art prints are individually hand signed and numbered by the artist. At the bottom of each print in an edition, the artist pencils in their signature and numbers which individual print it is of the total created. 12/450 penciled in the bottom of the Limited Edition means, for example, that this was the 12th print to be signed and that there were only 450 prints ever made. It tends to be the choice of collectors looking for more of a rare art selection, personally signed by the artist.
What is the difference between paper size and image size ?
Paper art prints have a white border around the image. Typically this frames the image like a white matte does- helping the framer and emphasizing the image. Frame Image size reflects the dimensions of the image itself whereas paper size includes the white border in the dimensions. Since most artists sign and number their prints just below the image, some of this white border will be visible when framed. All Limited Edition art prints are listed with both the paper size and image size so you and your framer can decide how much white edge surrounding the image you prefer to see. Many or the Paris Collection are also printed with a uniform image size with multiple/collection presentation in mind.
When will my art arrive ?
Art prints ship typically ship within 2 - 3 business days after you place your order. Limited Edition Art prints ship within a day or two. Shipping time is typically within 7 or 14 days. You will be notified by email as it is tracked to your destination.
How will my art be packaged ?
We take extra care to make sure your art arrives ready to love. Unframed prints are carefully protected for shipping and framed art is securely packaged to help keep it safely in place along the way. An unframed art print, for example, is specifically shipped in a triangle/tube for protection. The print is encased in tissue for ease of removal along with a receipt and a letter of thank you from the artist. The Art Studio is diligent about shipping care but please be careful removing the art from the shipping triangle/tube - thank you.
